Charge Offshore to champion fleet electrification at Offshore Wind Journal conference 2026

Dimitri de Gunzbourg, chief technology officer at Charge Offshore (by MJR Power & Automation), will lead an expert discussion on electrifying operations and maintenance (O&M) fleets at this year's Offshore Wind Journal Conference.

Taking place on 2 February at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, the annual conference brings together industry experts, vessel owners, marine contractors, developers and the wider supply chain to share knowledge and innovation across all areas of offshore wind.

De Gunzbourg’s session, ‘Operations and maintenance fleet electrification: the long-term economic case’, will explore the commercial availability of electric and hybrid vessels, the technology readiness of offshore charging infrastructure; key economic indicators and trends; CAPEX and OPEX forecasts for O&M vessels; and impacts of the ever-changing regulatory environment.

In the lead up to the event, de Gunzbourg commented: “The Offshore Wind Journal Conference offers the perfect platform to share knowledge and data, showcase real-world case studies, and explore various pathways for electrifying offshore fleets. Alongside offering recommendations to our industry peers, policymakers and offshore wind developers, we’re also looking forward to discussing the findings from our latest whitepaper, which offers a comprehensive economic analysis of transitioning to electric O&M fleets.”

‘Operations and maintenance fleet electrification: the long-term economic case’ is scheduled for 1.50pm on 2 February. To see the full conference agenda, visit https://tinyurl.com/49jupk6a
